BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER YOUR RELOCATION
You are an expatriate, employee of an embassy, businessman, humanitarian worker, missionary etc. or you follows your family abroad?
Whether you have chosen to move, were sent on an international assignment or accompany your partner or parents, moving to a foreign country can be a confusing and sometimes deeply unsettling experience.
I know what it feels like to need orientation and support. I have been there myself. This is why I assist global nomads and multicultural individuals in their exciting and sometimes stressful life.
THIRTY YEARS FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE OF LIVING AND RAISING CHILDREN ABROAD.
When I decided to move for the first time, I had already been living and working “between countries” for years. I therefore thought that I was well prepared for the upcoming change when I decided to quit my job in order to live abroad. How very wrong I was!
TRAVELING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY AND WORKING THERE FOR A LIMITED AMOUNT OF TIME HAS LITTLE, IF NOTHING TO DO WITH MOVING PERMANENTLY ABROAD.
I remember well how exhausting and sometimes overwhelming it was to move to another culture and also how lonely, sad and powerless we may feel when our support network is not with us anymore to help us cope and figure out how life works in this unknown environment. Even simple tasks suddenly become complicated, stressful and frustrating.
My studies and personal experience of being a migrant for 30 years have taught me much about human behavior. It is a pleasure to now pass this knowledge on and to support others during their years abroad.
EACH FAMILY MEMBER EXPERIENCES MOVING ABROAD IN A UNIQUE WAY.
I therefore offer tailor-made services for employees, trailing partners, children and young adults as well as other multicultural individuals.
Counselling and coaching helps to make your transition so much easier and more fun.
